DeweyCon is a board game convention in central Illinois, usually landing on one of the first two weekends of April. It is open to everyone, and has been running annually for 1+ years in the city of Dewey, Illinois. While the con has never been hosted at the same venue two years in a row, information about the site for the upcoming year's events will be posted well in advance of badge sales.
Past attendees have traveled thousands of miles before arriving in scenic Dewey, IL to spend three days gaming and socializing with fellow board game fans. Sleeping and dining accommodations are available, on site.
Here are some quotes from last year's DeweyCon attendees and guests:
"Wow, there are so many games to play!"
"I think [DeweyCon is the best board gaming convention, ever]."

DeweyCon's official theme song is Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue on Black."

Nobody has ever died while attending DeweyCon. Come for the games, stay for your health!
There's a fire pit where attendees can dispose of unwanted board games, should they deem it necessary. All apologies to our [not] sponsors at USAopoly! At least you're helping us keep warm!
DeweyCon has complimentary bacon available to all attendees at the main floor dining area. Stop by and show your badge for free bacon!
